Message I do, and let me tell you, the shit aint easy.

Right now, banks won't loan money to small companies, so cash flow is everything. If you have a slow week or two, guess what? Everything gets delayed.

When you are a small business, you have to find the supplier that will provide you with the product you need for the best price. But often times the best priced supplier is not the most reliable, so in Ash's case, he is at the mercy of the reliability, or lack thereof, of those that build the products he designs.

When you run a small business, with one or two employees, you are: The salesman, head engineer, shipping clerk, accountant, accounts receivable, accounts payable, PR man, everything relies on you, and there are only so many hours in a day. So if one hopes to have any quality of life, some things have to be allowed to fall behind.

I have no affiliation with Ash other than I have bought several things from him. When I bought my IC's from him, it took about two weeks longer than I roiginally was told it would, but me being a business owner, I maybe had a little more understanding where that is concerned.

I will also say that he has been stellar in the amount of time he has spent with me on the phone over a year or so period awhile back trying to solve problems that I couldn't figure out.

I think we would all agree that he builds great stuff, and when we do get it, it works the way it should. I guess the point is, give the guy a little slack.

TO ASH: Hey man. It may be a good idea to do weekly updates here, and on some of the other Z boards as to which products are on time, and which are running longer to produce or get out. It would probably avoid a lot of these sorts of posts.
